Andersen, David L. In New Haven, Oct. 13, 2007, David L. Andersen, 66, of Bassett St., West Haven, brother of Paula Lawrence of Phoenix, AZ and Donald Andersen of Greensboro, NC. David was born in New Haven, Nov. 19, 1940 a son of the late Lester Charles and Elizabeth Buchner Andersen. He served in the US Navy. David retired 5 years ago from Connecticut On Line where he worked as a computer analyst. Friends may call Wednesday, Oct. 17 from 6 - 8 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven. Funeral service will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.
A great guy with an infectious laugh. He was truely a bright person in so many ways.

I worked with Dave for many years at COCC. He made so many significant contributions to the success of our Company, he will always be remembered. But most memorable of all was his infectious laugh. His laugh resonated throughout the building, it was always uplifting for anyone who heard it. He was a kind and wonderful man who will long be remembered. May he rest in peace.
