In New Haven, Aug. 30, 2005, Diane Jean Matteis, 67, of Eastern St. and formerly of Smith Ave. and Columbus Ave., New Haven, daughter of the late Anthony and Angela "Molly" Veloce Matteis. Beloved friend of Joseph and Margaret Salemme, Harry and Rose Vincent and Dorothy B. Feld. She was an assembler at US Surgical Company. Funeral leaving BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven, Friday, Sept. 2 at 8:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Francis Church, New Haven at 9:30 a.m. Burial in All Saints Cemetery.
