Dixie Frazier Young

At her home, Nov. 28, 2003, Dixie Frazier Young, 69, of Cold Spring St., New Haven, wife of the late Herman L. Young, mother of Penny Horowiec, Fonda Young both of New Haven, Kathy Ayala of Meriden, Herman L. Young, Jr. of West Haven and Edward C. Frazier of WV, sister of Carolyn Henery of Klamath Falls, OR, Genevieve Kidd of Cleveland, OH, Lueille Hyre of Charleston, WV, Bridgett Pelfrey of Columbus, OH, step-sister of, Cressel Duty of FL and Harrison Blankenship of Marmet, WV. Also survived by several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Dixie was born in Charleston, WV, Feb. 28, 1934 a daughter of the late Gory and Effie Hancock Frazier. She has been a resident of New Haven for 38 years. Funeral service Mon., Dec. 1, 2003 at 11 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven. Friends may call Monday from 10 - 11 a.m. Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, West Haven.
