Dolores Concetta Ezzo DiDiovanni

Meriden- Dolores Concetta Ezzo DiGiovanni, 90, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 28, 2012 after a brief illness. She was born June 24, 1922 in Meriden the only child of the late Modestino Ezzo and Mary Ezzo. Dolores attended St. Joseph School, graduated from Meriden High School and earned an Associates Degree from Larson College (now Quinnipiac University) class of 1942. She was employed by Jefferson Federal Savings Bank for many years and retired as a branch manager. After retirement from the bank, Dolores continued to work for the family business at the Meriden Lanes. She was a member of the Junior Women's Club and volunteered at the World War II Veterans Memorial Hospital gift shop. Dolores is survived by her only child, Anthony J. DiGiovanni Jr. of Meriden and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony J. DiGiovanni.Sr. Funeral services were private and internment was at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave, Meriden.
