Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My condolences to the Foster. I worked with Dolores at Arden House and went to the gas station on Whitney Ave with her a number of times. I used to be owned by my Dad and she knew it was a special place for me. We used to talk about the Hamden, the memories of my father and other things and she was a blessing to me. When I got married I and had my daughter I would come in to see her and other staff members and she always was thrilled to see us as I we were her. My she rest in peace. Dolores when I feel the sun I will know it is you kissing your family and myself and the rain and snow are your tears, together letting us know you are with us always. I wish we had stayed in touch so that you could have gotten to meet my other 4 children and know that you are seeing them now. Love you always.

  2. Aunt Dolores was a wonderful person. We greatly appreciated the companionship and support she and Nate provided our mom & dad, Mary and Pat, in their later years.

    Pat Capone (Jr)

  3. Auntie Doris was a very special woman. I have many fond memories of going to the diner for breakfast with her and my grandmother (Mary). My condolences to the entire Foster family.

    Aimee (Capone) Derry

  4. On behalf of the Parente Family, our thoughts and condolences go to the Foster Family. We recall our parents being such good friends and we will always remember “Mrs. Foster” visiting with our Mom and other neighbors for coffee and cards.
Joe (Chuck), Paul, Joan and Roseann

  5. Greg so sorry to hear about your mom. I remember having dinner with your mom and pop many times. Hope you and Glenn are doing alright. Many good memories about the Eli Whitney auto shop we both went to. So long for now.
