Dolores M. Capone, age 73, of New Haven, passed away on Nov. 11, 2014. Born in Hartford on Nov. 13, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Paul & Josephine Perruccio LaChance. Dolores grew up in East Hartford, and also lived in the New Haven area. She was a secretary for over 30 years for the CT Council of Police Unions, Local 15 before her retirement. She is survived by her sons, Michael & his wife Melissa Capone of Hamden and Anthony & his wife Michelle Capone of Erie, PA; granddaughter Stephanie Capone of Branford and her brother Paul LaChance II of Manchester. She was predeceased by her brother Robert LaChance. Dolores was the former president and treasurer of Bella Vista's 339 Club and enjoyed playing cards, bingo & wei bowling with her many wonderful friends. Friends may attend her Mass on Monday, Nov. 17th at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Her family will greet friends in the church vestibule from 9:30 until Mass. Hamden. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, 749 East Main St., Branford, CT 06405 www.branfordanimalshelter.org Arrangements in care of Beecher & Bennett, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden.
