Dolores Marie Bell

MERIDEN - Dolores Marie Bell, 76, of 76 Butler St., died Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Arthur Bell. Born in Flushing, Queens, NY, on July 6, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Malcolm and Shirley Johnson Sarno. She was retired from the Durham Manufacturing Company and was an avid fan of Elvis Pressley. She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Debra and Carl Westerlund of McEwan, TN; three sons and their wives, Wayne and Donna Landgren of Lavergne, TN, Stephen and Rose Landgren of Burns, TN and Glen Landgren of Bristol, CT; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Landgren of Meriden; two brothers, Malcolm Sarno and his wife, Arline of Meriden and William Sarno of Blues Creek, NC; thirteen grandchildren, Matthew Landgren, Erick Landgren and Michael Landgren, all of Smithtown, NY, Anthony Landgren and Phillip Landgren, both of Lavergne, TN, Frankie Landgren and Stephen Landgren, both of McEwen, TN; Glen Landgren, Jr. of Meriden, Veronica Landgren of Boca Raton, FL, Lynn Landgren of Meriden, Keith Westerland, Timothy Westerland and Josh Westerland, all of McEwen, TN; and several great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 10, at 2 p.m. at the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Robert Stocksdale will officiate. Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
