Donald Nathan Mazeau
Donald Nathan Mazeau, 75, of Orange passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Husband of Patricia Ann Koscielecki Mazeau, Donald is survived by sons Arthur Mazeau of Clinton, Steve Mazeau of Westbrook and David Mazeau of France. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Ashley and Christie Mazeau, Heather Mazeau Kjos and Bobby Randall, 3 great-grandchildren, Kyle, Olivia and Alyssa Kjos, 2 brothers, James and Sandy Mazeau and a sister Roxanne Mazeau Ricciardi. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Marie Mazeau. A son of the late Francis and Zylpha Codding Mazeau, Donald was born in Milford on April 15, 1934. He retired from AT & T and was a former congressional aide for Congressman Sam Gejdenson. He was also an avid coin and token collector. Private arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven. Patty, I was greatly saddened to read of Donald’s death. You two seemed so happy when I saw you at the last all-class reunion. Donald was one of my oldest friends. While I hadn’t seen so much of him recently, I still feel the loss. I’m glad that you had some time to spend with him. Dick Platt
My deepest sympathies to the Mazeau family. Although I knew Francis and Zylpha of Forest Rd best, I conversed with Donald Mazeau by email concerning our shared genealogy. His last message to me included these brief comments about his family: .Hi Marshall: Heather, married name Kjos, now has two children, Kyle Kjos and Olivia Kjos, those are my great-grandchildren. They live in Westbrook. Arthur has no other children. I don’t know where Ashley was born; probably New Haven hospital, she still lives at home with Arthur in Clinton. My youngest son David also lives in Paris. He has been there nearly 5 years now and gets his .green card. this month. I just got around to updating his info on the Uschold list a few weeks ago.
