Donald Stott Cady, 61, of Southington formerly of Cheshire, loving husband of Janet Adams Cady passed away unexpectedly Oct. 5, 2007 while vacationing in Florida. Mr. Cady was born in Syracuse, NY, Nov. 25, 1945 a son of the late Donald and Bernice Stott Cady. He served in the US Air Force from 1964 - 1968. Mr. Cady graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of New Haven in 1973. He was a Senior Systems Consultant for the Computer Sciences Corp. in East Hartford, CT since 1982. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Tara Cady Gromala and her husband, Stephen Gromala of Meriden, a son, Scott M. Cady of Boston, MA, close family friend Denise Milton of Cheshire, a sister, Barbara Cady Spitzer of Webster, NY, sister-in-law, Dr. Joann Cady of Knoxville, TN, brother-in-law, Robert Adams and his companion, Barbara Tangredi of Port Orange, FL, 3 nieces and 4 nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Gary Cady. Funeral service Saturday, Oct. 13, at 10 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN. Friends may call Friday from Oct. 12 from 4-8 p.m. Interment with Military Honors in Hillside Cemetery, Cheshire.

  6. I knew Don from working at CSC for he and myself had many conversations on the insurance company AEgon and the PerformancePlus system. I always thought of him as a very gracious and caring man. We spoke often on books for he always seem to have a book to read during lunch. My prayers are with you and your family.
