Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I have fond memories of visiting Mrs. Bogacki in her Hamden home. She was always welcoming and kind. My heartfelt condolences to Karen, Joe, and families. You’re in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Shelley

  2. Saddened to learn of Dorine’s passing. Her warm smile brightened the days of the many years I worked with her at Hamden High School. She was the sweetest! My sincere condolences to her family.

  3. Dorine and my mom were next door neighbors for over 50 years. They looked out for one another. I’ll always be thankful for that relationship. Dorine was a sweet, wonderful person, always kind and smiling. She will be missed. Thinking of Karen & Joey during this sad time.

  4. Sorry for your loss Joe. Fun times at your house with your mom, dad & sister. Miss those days! Always smiling and friendly to me and all of our friends.

  5. So sorry for your loss. Our paths crossed many times over the years. Doreen was the secretary at Bear Path when our kids were in school. We shared several social events with Doreen and Julius. We ran into both of them on a trip to Hawaii . It was surprising to meet Hamden friends so far from home. We spent social times together at the Greater New Haven Celiac Group. Doreen always had a good gluten free recipe to share. We enjoyed bringing gluten free treats to Doreen when she first gave up her home and went to assisted living. Doreen will always hold a special place in our hearts. She was a very kind and caring person.

  6. Joe & Karen
The last GREAT LADY of Belden Road. May God Bless and keep her. Sending prayers your way.

  7. What a wonderful photo! It captures the “Mrs. Bogacki” I have known since Karen and I met up in junior high. Good memories of times at their home. To her family and friends, remember “Grief is just love with no place to go.” She’s got her hands wrapped around your hearts, helping them to heal.
