Doris E. Hall

Middletown- Doris E. Hall, 101, formerly of North Farms Rd., Wallingford died on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Middlesex Healthcare Center in Middletown. She was born June 14, 1909 in Durham, CT a daughter of the late Albert and Daisy (Francis) Hall. She had been a stenographer for Durham Manufacturing Co. until her retirement and had been an 80 year member of the Durham Grange. She is survived by five nephews and their spouses, Alan and Beverly Plucker of Fairfield, Vincent and Dot Plucker of Durham, NC, Forest and Betsy Hall of Durham , Bob Hall of Middletown and Donald and Brenda Kroeber of Florida , two nieces and their husbands, Merle and Parker Plucker of Rocky Hill, Margie and Dick Osborne of Wallingford, as well as several grandnieces and nephews. She was preceased by a brother, Harold Hall, two sisters, Mildred Kroeber and Florence Plucker and a nephew, David Plucker. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 11am at Walnut Grove Cemetery, 817 Old Colony Rd., Meriden. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Middlesex Healthcare Center, 100 Randolph Rd., Middletown, CT 06457 or to the Hemlock Grange #182, Harriet Sanborn, Secretary, 931 Glastonbury Tpke., Portland, CT 06480. The Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden is in charge of the arrangements.
