Strampach, Doris Scott In CT Hospice, August 28, 2001, after suffering with cancer for 5 years, Doris Mae Scott Strampach 69, of Still Hill Rd., Hamden, wife of Robert F. Strampach, mother and mother-in-law of Patricia and James Copley and John and Nancy Strampach all of Hamden, loving grandmother of Elizabeth Strampach and John James Strampach, sister of Elizabeth Bissell of Bristol, CT, Jean Peckham of Arcadia, FL, Cora Peckham of West Haven and Edward Scott of Cheshire. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Doris was born in New Haven, Dec. 25, 1931 a daughter of the late Charles and Harriet L. Scott. She had worked at the former Brock Hall Dairy for 15 years as a packer in their ice cream plant and later was a home health aide. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Congregational Church.   3. I still think of the walks in the garden, stealing and eating fresh tomatoes. Pussywillows and steam water in an alumium cup hanging by the stream. Alot of eating out, relaxing times at Aunt Doris\’ house. I will miss her and have missed her since we have been away from CT. Part of my heart goes with you, I know you are in a better place and have no more pain. The pain is left behind with the family who will miss you. I love you. Linda
