Dorothy Ann Benson
Dorothy Ann Benson, 71, wife of the late Carl Benson, passed away on May 8, 2015 after a long illness. Born in Burlington, VT on November 8, 1943 to the late Raymond and Kathleen Foley Benoit. She loved traveling to Vermont to see the fall foliage and her favorite covered bridge in Brattleboro. She also enjoyed Bingo and trips to the casino. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Beth Sousa of Wallingford, Carol Santiago of FL, & Peggy Miller of Branford; sons, Carl Benson of Clinton & Greg Benson of Branford; grandchildren, Alexander and Kristina Sousa, Austin and Johnathan Miller, Amy Regan, Penelope, Owen, Nathanial, Christopher, & Gregory Benson; great-grandchildren, Patricia Miller, Korbyn Martinson, & Henry Silas; siblings, Constance Dusablon of FL and Joan Mondello of Shapleigh, ME. Predeceased by her siblings, Mary Theresa Abbott, Katherine Snedeker, Rena, Margaret, & Raymond Benoit. BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden in care of private arrangements.
I know i havent been there but auntie love u and bless u and ty for the great times as a kid…..hope you found peace with everyone u dearly missed.
Beth, Carol, Peggy. So sorry for your lose May it bring you comfort to know she is in peace and out of pain. Noone can tell you how to deal with the death of your mother we can only offer our words,Prayers, shoulders and freindship. and maybe make you laugh in the furture as we all remember her and the good times we had as kids.
