Dorothy E. Perry, age 85, beloved wife of Donald C. Perry of Hamden passed away peacefully on August 19, 2005 in the comfort of her home following a long illness. Mrs. Perry, born in New Haven on November 7, 1919, daughter of the late William and Dorothy MacLean and was a resident of Hamden most of her life. Along with her husband Donald, she is survived by four loving children; Barbara Nelson and her husband, David of Hamden, Donald Perry and his wife, Joan of Cheshire, Deborah Massey and her husband, Richard of Branford, Nancy Treichel and her husband, Joseph of Hamden, as well as fourteen grandchildren; John Battick and his wife, Beth, and Michael Battick, Rebecca Nelson Ferrucci and her husband, John and Steven, David, Erik, and Ryan Nelson, Mark, Daniel, and Lauren Perry, Jason Massey, Joseph, Amy, and Megan Treichel, and four great-grandchildren; John, Alyssa, and Zoe Battick and Jason Massey, Jr. Funeral service will be private. BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden in care of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405 or the Hospital of St. Raphael's Father Michael J.
