Obergfell, Dorothy In Meriden, Feb. 22, 2006, Dorothy Obergfell, 90. Born in Brooklyn, NY Oct. 20, 1915, daughter of the late Gustave and Wilhelmina Meyer Obergfell, raised on Staten Island and formerly of Southington, CT. Predeceased by a sister Edna Obergfeld. A lifelong friend of the Geary family, she was loved by all who knew her. Retired from the Continental Insurance Company, a member of St. John Lutheran Ladies Aid Society and FISH. Funeral Service at St. John Lutheran Church, Meriden, Sat. , Feb. 25, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Friends may call one hour prior. My Mother Margaret McKeever was a good friend to Dorothy. They traveled to work together for many years. We all knew and loved Dorothy very much. She was a great lady. I wanted to take my Mother to the services tomorrow but she feels it is too far to travel. She is now 86 years old but doing very good. Please extend our sympathy to all of her extended family that we knew from Staten Island.
