Dorothy S. Rennie

Wallingford-Dorothy S. Rennie, 86, wife of the late Ernest W. Rennie passed away Friday January 16, 2004 in the Masonic Geriatric Health Care Center. She was born in New Haven Feb. 10, 1917 a daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth Lane Schildbach and had resided in West Haven before moving to Florida in 1971, and later to Wallingford in 1990. Mrs. Rennie was a saleslady at the former Edw. Malley Co. of New Haven and was a member of the First Lutheran Church of West Haven. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Carl W. and Loretta Rennie of Hamden, Ernest G. and Joyce Rennie of Northford, 6 grandchildren; Cheryl Rennie-Smith, Deborah Welton, Carl T. Rennie, Bonnie DellaRocco, Keith Rennie, and Tracie Sires, and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 3 sisters, Gertrude (Betty) Anderson, Hilda Paterson, and Edna Vass. Friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden Tuesday Jan. 20, from 6-8 PM. A prayer service officiated by Rev. Owen Sanderson will be at 7:30PM.
