New Haven, CT - Douglas Christopher Joiner, 37, of Irvington St. passed away September 23, 2005. He is survived by his mother Linda Bankole and her husband David of Jackson, Michigan, his father Douglas L. Joiner of Atlanta, GA, a son Douglas Christopher Head of Douglasville, GA, 5 brothers: Daniel Bankole of Jackson, Michigan, Bem Joiner, Jahi Joiner, Kenneth Walker and Brandon Walker all of Atlanta, GA, 3 sisters: Davina Bankole of Jackson, Michigan, Mesi Joiner and Keisha Walker, both of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by Linda Ford Joiner, Barbara Walker and Cookye Harden of Atlanta, GA. Dougie will be lovingly missed by a host of Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated in St. Paul's Church, First Ave., West Haven, CT at 9:30 am on Sat., Oct. 1. Burial in St. Bernard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to: Catholic Relief Services, 209 West Fayette St., Baltimore, MD 21201-3443, or to Habitat for Humanity, 121 Habitat St., Americas, GA. 31709.
