Sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one. I am from Roanoke also. The family name is Edwards. My older sister Barbara babysit for Llyburn & Lewis children. Dear Pat,
We were so sad to read that Dr.Downing had died. He was such a nice man. We have some nice memories of him as our Doctor, and also at the picnics at the Fitzgeralds’. He always wore his picnic pants with the bugs on them.
We will not forget him.

Prayers to your family. God Bless.
Doc and I spent many an hour on the tennis court. He made me a better player than I ever thought I could be. I am sorry to hear of his passing and may he rest in peace.
