Edith Elizabeth Davis
Hamden - Edith Elizabeth Davis, 63, of 213 Centerbrook Road, died Sat., August 6, 2005 at home. She was born in Orange, NJ, October 22, 1941 a daughter of the late William Arthur and Ann Varrallo Davis. She recieved a Bachelors Degree from Albertus Magnus College and a Master of Arts Degree from Wesleyan University. She was a writer and a world traveler. She taught school in Thailand. She is survived by a son, Micah Anderson of Oakland, CA, and a brother, William Davis of Maplewood, NJ. Funeral service Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 10 a.m. at Beecher & Bennett, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
Dear Micah, Shersten and I were saddened to find out about your mother’s passing. She has been a great friend to our family. I have many fond memories of your mother, especially her excitement during my engagement. She is in our thoughts, as are you.
