Edith M. Bauer
Edith M. Bauer, 92, of Hamden passed away Dec. 8, 2011. Mother of Terry L. Simpson of Hamden and Gary W. Simpson of Ponce de Leone, FL. Sister of Wilbur Weed of Beacon Falls, and the late Alice Petro. Grandmother of Jerry Simpson of North Haven, Tammy Shea of North Haven, Marissa Simpson of Groton, Michael Simpson of North Haven and Jason Simpson of Wallingford. Great grandmother of Aurora Simpson, Jesse Simpson, Todd Shea, Emily Shea, Cheyenne Simpson and Hailey Simpson. Mrs. Bauer owned and operated the Beacon Outing Club from 1962 to 1974, was President of the Pardee Garden Club, and a former member of the Bethany and Oxford Grange. A Service of Internment will be held on Saturday, December 17th at 10 AM in Trinity Cemetery, Seymour.
