Edmond A. Wisniowski, 87 husband of Nancy (Pickles) Wisniowski died on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at MidState Medical Center. He was born August 17, 1922 in Woonsocket, RI a son of the late Anthony and Jennie (Babiarz) Wisniowski. Ed proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. He was a machinist at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft until retiring. He coached little league baseball and cared for his grandchildren who were the light of his life. Ed loved all sports especially the Red Sox, UCONN and bowling. In addition to his wife Nancy, he is survived by two sons and their wives, Paul and Laurette Wisniowski of Wallingford, and Walter and Phyllis Wisniowski of California, and two grandchildren, Eric and Amanda Wisniowski. Relatives and friends may call at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Monday, July 26 from 5-8pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
