  2. The Langella Family in Hamden, Philadelphia, Nashville, Atlanta and Los Angeles pass along our condolences and deepest sympathy to the Dowling Family who we have know as friends since Mike Langella and Paul T. Dowling became friends at Michael Whalen Jr. High School in Hamden. Since then, I and my wife Jill and our daughters have come to know Mrs. Dowling as .Nannie. and the fact that there are Dowlings in Los Angeles played a big part in our deciding to allow our daughter Caroline to enroll in college in California. We trust them to be there for us and Caroline as her extended family. This is testament to the fantastic job Mr. & Mrs. Dowling did in raising their family! What a great man it takes to lead such a great family! What a legacy Mr. Dowling leaves behind! We celebrate Mr. Dowling’s life as we know you will and we hope that we can be there for you all as you have been there for us. With much love and deep respect – The Langellas in Atlanta – Mike, Jill, Caroline, Grace & Molly
