Edward (Ted) Walter McAuley

Edward (Ted) Walter McAuley, 92, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, at MidState Medical Center. He was the husband of Ellen Elizabeth Rogerson McAuley. He was born in Nova Scotia, Canada on April 26, 1908, the son of the late Walter and Ada Marr McAuley. He was the manager of the Hartford, CT branch of Armour Company, Assistant District Manager in Philadelphia, PA and New England District Manager in Boston until his retirement in 1968. He resided in Newton and Natick, MA until retiring to South Yarmouth, Cape Cod in 1973. Mr. McAuley was a former member of the Mid-Cape Men's Club, the Hyannis Men's Club, the Senior Citizens Social Club, the Bass River Golf Club and the United Methodist Church of South Yarmouth, MA. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Sandra MacIlvaine of Wallingford, CT and Dorothy Bennett of Wilmington, DE; two sons, Walter McAuley of Seattle, WA and Steven McAuley of Natick, MA; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson, Edward W. McAuley. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
