  7. Dear Dale, As you know, I never got to meet your Mom, but from everything you told me in bits and pieces over our friendship, and from what I got to see was the very close and loving relationship you had with her, I knew she was a fine and dear person. I wish I had gotten to know her! I know she would have enriched my life, too. And as you know, I’m not much of a believer. But in times like this, I always feel I hope I’m wrong! Nothing would make me feel better than to really know there is a Heaven, and that she’s up there. That would be only right. My best to you and your family in this difficult time. ~ John

  8. It was such a delight to be with each of you last night as we remembered your Mum. I’m pleased that the service was a special honor to her memory.Since we have lived across the street for 40 years it will be an adjustment driving by each day and realizing she is not there Forty years is a long time to form so many memories. I picture her in heaven reconnecting with your dad and my mother. Some of her special quialities mentioned were her work ethic and quiet manner. This was evident at West Woods Bible Chapel where she faithfully served the Sunday School, helped weekly with clean up of trays from The Lord’s Supper and provided rides for someone who did not drive We missed her lately at Chapel and will continue to do so. Our prayers will be with you. Linnea Schmidt
