Elizabeth 'Betty' I. Cook

In New Haven, Feb. 23, 2004, Elizabeth ''Betty'' I. Cook, 87 of Care Ln., West Haven, wife of the late William G. Cook, devoted mother of Eileen Cook and sister, Nellie Wentworth both of West Haven also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Anna Bosco, Peggy Stannard and brothers, Frank, William and John Quinn and Joseph Lane. Betty was born in New Haven, June 8, 1916 a daughter of the late William and Inez Dowdell Quinn. She had worked as an inspector for the former Seamless Rubber Co. for 25 years retiring in 1975. She was a lifelong resident of West Haven and a parishoner of Our Lady of Victory Church. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven, Thur., Feb. 26 at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Church at 10 a.m. Friends may cal Wed. from 5 - 7 p.m. Emtombment in St. Lawrence Mausoleum.
