Elizabeth K. Fiore
Elizabeth K. Fiore, 92, formerly of Hamden and Woodbridge, passed peacefully on May 9, 2014 in Natick, MA. Betty was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Nicholas M. Fiore. Born in Holyoke, MA on June 14, 1921, Betty was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Kizielewicz and sister of Bernice Chelstowski, Helen Kizielewicz, Felicia Kizielewicz and Theresa Chelstowski. Betty is survived by her son, Thomas G. Fiore and his wife, Carolyn McAvoy Fiore of Lexington, MA and their children, Gabrielle, Julia and Annalisa, and by her daughter, Susan Fiore Seeber and her husband, Todd Seeber of Wayland, MA and their son Nicholas. She is also survived by a loving extended family, and friends. Betty worked as an accountant and a financial advisor. She was also a freelance writer published in Yankee magazine and The Pictorial Sunday magazine of the New Haven Register. Betty grew up in St. Stanislaus parish in New Haven and later was a devoted member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Hamden and Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Woodbridge. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden on Wednesday, May 14 at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Stanislaus Church, 9 Eld Street, New Haven. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, May 13 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will take place at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
