Ella Genevieve Healy
Ella Genevieve Healy, age 90, of Hamden, passed away March 12, 2010 at Harborside Arden House. Ella was predeceased by her husband, Francis J. Healy, Sr. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on August 24, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Edward & Charlotte Wilson, Sr. Ella is survived by her son Francis J. Healy, Jr. of Hamden and a sister Rita Richards and her husband Neal of Florida and Martha Natalie of Meriden. She was predeceased by sisters, Charlotte Langlois, Rilla Kowalski and brothers, Edward Wilson, Jr & James Wilson. Ella was a resident of Hamden for over 53 years and formerly employed at Macy's Department Store in the office. Funeral Service was held privately at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden.
Frank I am so sorry to hear about your mother. She was a very special lady and we had many good laughs when she came to have her hair done. Just a week or two ago the Tues customers were asking for her. My prayers are with you.
