Hamden- Ellen Anderson Olson, wife of 55 years of Eric Olson of 1450 Whitney Ave. formerly of Rockwood Rd passed away March 24, 2004. She was born in New Haven July 16, 1921 a daughter of the late Arthur M. and Bertha Nelson Anderson and was a life long resident of Hamden. Mrs. Olson was a secretary at S.C.S.U. retiring in 1986, a member of the Bethesda Lutheran Church Women, the VASA Order of America, and the former Swedish Junior League. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Karl John and his, wife Nancy Olson of Hamden, two daughters Barbara O. and her husband David Johnson of Hamden, and Sharon O. Langevin of Morris CT, 8 grandchildren, Christopher & Russell Olson, Kristian, Michael, Matthew, Daniel & Anna Johnson, and Nicholas Langevin. She was predeceased by a brother Arthur N. Anderson. Funeral service will be Saturday March 27, at 9 AM at Bethesda Lutheran Church. Friends may call Friday from 4-8 PM at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN. Burial in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be sent to Bethesda Lutheran Church ''Memorial Fund'' 305 St. Ronan St., New Haven CT 06511.
