Emil G. Olsson, Jr. In Meriden, Oct. 10, 2001, Emil G. Olsson, Jr. 88, of 40 Ashlar Village, Wallingford, husband of Florence Leeds Olsson. He was born in West Haven, CT, Dec. 29, 1912, a son of the late Emil G. and Sigrid Martinson Olsson, Sr. Emil was a bookbinder for Yale University restoring rare books. He was a 50 year member and a Past Master of Wooster Lodge #79, A.F. & A.M., he served the Grand Lodge as a District Deputy in 1980-81, a member of the York Rite,he was a Past Commander of New Haven Commandery, the Valley of New Haven Scottish Rite, Lafayette Consistory, and Honorary member of the Supreme Council, 33rd Degree and the the Red Cross of Constantine. Beside his wife, he is survived by a brother, John Olsson of Marana, AZ, nieces, Caroline Verrelli of East Granby, CT and Jean LaFratta of South Meriden. Also survived by 2 grand nieces. A Memorial service will be held in the Activity Room of Ashlar Village, Wallingford, Saturday, Oct. 13 at 3 P.M.
