Emily H. Kimball

MERIDEN-Emily H. Kimball, 92, formerly of 60 Hanover Street, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000, at MidState Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Richard H. Kimball. She was born in Providence, R.I. on Sept. 29, 1907 the daughter of the late James E. and Emma E. Brown Heap, Sr. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island and had worked as a nutritionist in the Meriden School System. She is survived by three grandchildren, Douglas Barber of Biddeford, Maine, Kirsten Barber Cooke of Meriden and Kenneth W. Barber of Cape Elizabeth, Maine and two step-great-grandchildren,Christopher Keenan and Linsay Keenan, both of Biddeford. She was predeceased by a daughter, Dorcas Barber and two brothers, Robert Heap and James E. Heap, Jr. A graveside service will be held in Walnut Grove Cemetery at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000. The Rev. George H. True will officiate.
