Ernest P. Calvi

Meriden - Ernest P. Calvi , 88, of South Meriden, beloved husband of Betty Knop Calvi, died Tuesday, Dec.16, 2003 at Midstate Medical Center in Meriden. He was the son of the late Ralph and Mary Pizzoni Calvi. Mr. Calvi served his country honorably during World War II in the US Navy in the South Pacific. Besides his wife, he is survived by a sister, Lillian Robakiewicz and her husband, Edward of South Meriden, two brothers, Albert Calvi of Meriden and Victor Calvi of Oceanside, CA and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond Calvi and Alvin Calvi and a sister, Lucy Cantarini. Funeral service Sat., Dec. 20, 2003 at 10 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW FUNERAL HOME, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Burial will be at the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
