Esther Cisto
Esther Cisto, loving wife for 48 years of the late Mario S. ''Butch'' Cisto peacefully passed into eternal life through her faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ on July 28, 2004 at home, with her treasured children by her side. She was born in Danbury, CT on June 25, 1929 and lived on Orange Street in New Haven for over fifty years. A graduate of the Broadman Trade School, she had owned a bridal gown shop where she designed and created numerous custom-made wedding gowns. She formerly attended the West Woods Bible Chapel for many years. Her greatest contentment and joy in life was in raising her precious family and caring for her home. She was the deeply cherished and the beloved mother and mother-in-law of Mark (Debbie) Cisto of Northford, Sharon (Nick) Ciarlo of Wallingford, Gary Cisto of Hamden, Deborah (Sal) Cisto-Camera of North Haven and Susan (Sam) Rifaey of Weston; loving grammie of Amy, Jason, Katherine, Christopher, Kimberly, Sarah, Emily, Jordan, Alexia, and Stephen-Asher. A Funeral Service will be held at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN on Saturday, July 31 at 10:30 AM. Friends may call from 9 AM to time of service.
