  1. My name is Joan Cook and I was a student at Middletown High School North when your mom was a secretary there. I graduated in 1976. Since we were on split sessions, I had the opportunity to work in the guidance office during the mornings before I had school in the afternoon. I have never forgotten your mom. She was a very organized and very professional secretary. This may seem like a silly memory, but it has always stuck with me, but she had recommended to me where I could buy bras in a size to fit my rather endowed body at the time. She gave me guidance like any good mother would give to their daughter. She was a very lovely person. I only stayed in touch with her and the other ladies in the guidance office a year or so after I graduated and then as most people do, you move on. I was very sorry to read of her death in the paper and I would like to extend my sympathy to you.
