Locke, Sr., 82, of Orange, Husband of the late Evelyn Benedict Locke. Mr. Locke is survived by sons Eugene D. Locke, Jr. and his wife Diana of Hampton, NH and Clifford B. Locke and his wife Maryanne of Orange. He is also survived by three grandsons, Clifford B. Locke, Jr., Gregory J. Locke and Nicholas A. Locke and a sister Joan L. Chamberlin and husband Albert of PA. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his sister Lorraine Dreyman. Son of the late Albert Victor and Elsie Grube Locke, Mr. Locke was born in New Haven July 7, 1926. He was a WW II Army veteran, a high school swimming coach and retired from teaching Biology at New Canaan High School in 1989. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 22 at 10 AM at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN. Friends may visit with the family Friday from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Locke's memory may be made to Ct. Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
