MERIDEN - Evelyn Ann St. Onge, 66, of 60 Hanover St. died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Meriden on June 27, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William and Arlene Hanny LeHerissier. She was an avid reader and writer, loved her family and friends, enjoyed cooking and watching ice skating on television. She had been employed as a nanny and was a former member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. She is survived by three sons, Jeffrey Thomas St. Onge and his wife, Melanie, Christopher Scott St. Onge and Matthew Michael St. Onge, all of Meriden; three sisters, CaroleWilliams and her husband, William, Patricia Jean Singh, all of Meriden and Brenda Shettleworth of Wallingford; three grandchildren, Evan St. Onge, Tyler St. Onge and Kyle St. Onge; several nieces and nephews, and her special cat, Sophia. The funeral will be held Monday, Jan. 21, at 11 a.m. at the Beecher and Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Eric Fjeldal will officiate. Burial will follow in Cheshire Street Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the services. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Evelyn may be made to the Meriden Humane Society, 22 East Road, Meriden, CT 06450, or to VNA Hospice, One Research Parkway, Meriden, CT 06450.

  4. It is with deepest saddness that my family and learned of Evelyn’s passing yesterday, Jan25th. My mother (Yolanda Angueira) has been away in Florida for the month of January and Feb.
