Evelyn J. Harris

Evelyn J. Harris, age 94, of Hamden, formerly of North Branford & West Haven, passed away on March 4, 2015. Evelyn was born in New Haven on January 17, 1921, a daughter of the late Albert & Alice Rempfer Harris. Evelyn was predeceased by her brothers, Robert J. Harris & Daniel Holt and her sister Alice Flavin. She was a Time Clerk for many years for the former Winchester Repeating Arms Corp. Friends may attend her Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven. Contributions in her memory may be made to her church, Trinity Lutheran Church, 292 Orange Street, New Haven, CT 06510.
