Evelyn M. Tracy
Evelyn M. Tracy, 90, wife of the late Donald Tracy died on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Hartford Hospital. She was born March 14, 1919 in Meriden a daughter of the late Peter and Mathilda (Boehm) Moran. She attended local schools, was a parishioner of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the church's Women's Club and a member of the Meriden Hospital Auxillary. Evelyn is survived by a son, David and his wife Catherine Tracy of Glastonbury, a grandson Douglas Tracy of Germany and a granddaughter, Jennifer Tracy of Newington She also leaves seven nieces and nephews, Laurel Haley, Robert, Nancy, Barry, Jeffrey and Pamela Moran and Patricia Gelinas. She was predeceased by a brother, Owen Moran. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 11:30am at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 164 Hanover Rd., Meriden. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Nancy Beckwith will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the service. The Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden is in charge of the arrangements.
