Evelyn Marenna King

In Ct. Hospice Sept. 8, 2007 Evelyn Marenna King, 86, wife of the late Harry P. King formerly of Mix Ave., Hamden. Sister of Mary G. DeMaio of Guilford and the late Charles Marenna, Fred Marenna, Albert Marenna, Helena Santagata and Ann Murphy. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Evelyn was born in New Haven, April 17, 1921 daughter of the late Carmen and Maria Mongillo Marenna. She was a graduate of Commerical High School in New Haven. She was employed at Berger Brothers and later as a secretary at Seamless Rubber Co. and Yale University. She was a former member of the Solidity of Mary, at St. Anthony's Church. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Wednesday Sept. 12, 2007 at 9;30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church, Hamden at 10 O'Clock. Interment will be in St Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ct.
