Fannie Crook Alling

In Wallingford, March 8, 2001, Fannie Crook Alling, 93, wife of the late Frederick Alling. Mother of Edward H. Alling of Flanders, NJ and Judith Cogswell of South Dennis, MA, also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Ruth Dorothy Crook. She was born in North Haven, where she lived most of her life, Aug. 12, 1907 a daughter of the late Edward John & Jennie Wilson Crook. She moved to Whitney Ave., Hamden in 1980 and more recently to the Masonic Home. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, New Haven where she was active in the Altar Guild and the St. Elizabeth Society of the Church. She was a member of Alice Chapter # 76 O.E.S. and the Pardee Garden Club. Funeral service Will be held at St. Thomas Chruch Monday March 12 at 11 A.M. Friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Sunday afternoon from 3-5. Burial will in Hamden Plains Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Masonic Charity Foundation, P. O.
