Felix Mazur
Felix Mazur, age 86, of Hamden, passed away February 28, 2012 at Conn. Hospice in Branford. Felix was the husband of Louise M. Hinchliff Mazur and predeceased by his 1st wife Ann Konereski Mazur. Born in West Haven on April 14, 1925, he was a son of the late Stanley & Mary Popareis Mazur and brother of the late Joseph & Stanley Mazur and Evelyn Strode. Besides his wife Louise, he is survived by his son Philip J. Mazur & his wife Rhonda of Terryville; his step-son Geary Danihy of Milford; grandchildren Joshua & Dana Mazur, Matthew & Catherine Danihy and Kristen Torpey and 5 great grandchildren. A US Army Veteran of WWII Felix was a machinist by trade, having been an employee of Hamilton Manufacturing Co, Henry Myers Co, American Record Products and retiring from the Schuster Mettler Company. Friends may visit with his family at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Thursday, March 1st, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. His funeral service will take place on SATURDAY, March 3rd, at 10:30 AM in the Dunbar United Church of Christ, corner of Benham & Dunbar Hill Rd., Hamden. Phil, Rhonda, Josh, Dana, Mom Mazur and family; So sorry for your loss. I remember going to the house when we were younger. Your dad was a great guy.
