Florence Kearney

Florence Kearney, 83 of Rock Creek Rd., died peacefully in her sleep at her home on Monday, July 11. Born Sept. 11, 1921 in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Erickson and predeceased by her sister Grace Grega. She was a Bassick High Class of '39 graduate and worked at Remington Arms, City Savings Bank, Bridgeport Library and DMV. She lived in Bridgeport and retired to Florida with her husband of 43 years, the late Joseph Kearney. She is survived by her three children Brooke Elliot, Patrick and Michael Kearney as well as two grandsons, David and Peter Lamothe. Calling hours will be held at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Fri., July 15 from 5-8 PM.
