In West Haven, May 27, 2008, Florence Madeline Greco Forte, 88, wife of the late Joseph Forte, mother of Dolores (Nicholas) DeFrancesco and Laura Cumberledge, grandmother of John and Jacquelyn DeFrancesco and Joseph Cumberledge, sister of Pasquale (Pat), Frank and Sylvester (Bill) Greco and Marie Katsimperes and Ann DeFilippo and also survived by many nieces and nephews. And her beloved grand-pets Shadow and Chiche. Predeceased by brothers John, Edward, Anthony and George Greco. Florence was born in New Haven June 28, 1919, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Migliacci Greco. She was a lifelong resident of West Haven. The family would like to thank all those that cared for Florence, especially the West Haven Adult Day Care, the nurses and aides at Harborview Manor and her personal aide Theresa. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 CAMPBELL AVE., WEST HAVEN, Friday, May 30 at 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Louis Church, 89 Bull Hill Ln., West Haven at 11 a.m. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Contributions in Florence's memory may be made to The West Haven Adult Day Care Center, 201 Noble Ave., West Haven, CT 06516.
