FRANK E. WOOSTER Bethany- Frank E. Wooster, 87, loving husband of 54 years to Mary Hands Wooster of Carrington Rd., passed away Wednesday July 17, 2002 in WH VAMC. Father of William Dils and his wife Lorna Dils of Hamden, brother of Charlotte Trumbley of Bethany, Barbara Johnson of Sharon, CT, brother-in-law of Lydia Wooster of Bethany, grandfather of Blair Dils and his wife Jessica Dils of Williamstown, MA and Rob Dils and his wife Hope Dils of Troy, NY also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother George O. Wooster. Mr. Wooster was employed as a service manager at the Page Motor Co. of Milford for over 40 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church of Bethany, VFW Post # 2448 of Bethany, a 35 year member of Compass Lodge # 9 A.F. & A. M. of Wallingford, the Ansonia Rod & Gun Club, Bethany Senior Citizens and the Planning and Building Committee for Veterans Memorial Park of Bethany. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II with the 110th Infantry, 28th Division, G. Co. in the Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe. A Memorial Service will be held in the Christ Episcopal Church, Amity Rd., Bethany Monday, July 22 at 1 p.m. Rev. Peter Stebinger will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow in Carrington Cemetery. Arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
