Frank J. Houde

Frank J. Houde, 88, loving husband of Sonia Wennerstrom Houde, of Belden Rd., Hamden passed away Nov. 1, 2009. He was born in Norwich, CT a son of the late Homer and Julia Kennedy Houde. He served in the US Army during WW II. He was a clerk with the US Postal Service for 18 years and later worked at Arden House of Hamden. He was a life member of the DAV. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother Thomas J. Houde of Cheshire, his sister Mary Trant of Maine. He was prececeased by a brother John Shea, and the late Sister Catherine Flaherty, R.S.M. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN, Thursday morning Nov. 5 at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
