Frank John Holupka In CT Hospice, Branford, Jan. 6, 2002, Frank John Holupka, 84, of Denslow Hill Rd., Hamden, husband of the late Irene Joyce Novak Holupka, father of Doreen H. DePalma of Branford, Frank W. Holupka of Hamden and Dr. Edward J. Holupka of Medway, MA, brother of Mary Mammal and her husband, Willard Mammal of Rapid City, SD, brother-in-law of Audrey Holupka of Tyndall, SD. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a very special niece, whom he loved like his own daughter, Arlene Dynan of East Haven. He was predeceased by brothers, Joseph and John Holupka and a sister, Katherine Holupka. He was born in Chicago, IL, Aug. 15, 1917 a son of the late John & Kathryn Koza Holupka. He served in the US Army as a drill sergeant from 1938-45 during WW II. He was a tire inspector at Perelli Armstrong Tire Co. for 20 years. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and mechanical work on stock cars. Funeral service at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Sat., Jan. 12 at 10 a.m. Interment in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden.
