Gail F. Thomas,R.N. 59 of 22 Masonic Ave, Wallingford, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004 at the Masonic Home after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Edward A. Thomas. Born in New Haven, Oct 17, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Shirley Brown Fletcher. She retired from Yale New Haven Hospital in 1992 as a Registered Nurse after 26 years. Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Eastern Star Golden Rod Chapter, #34, as well as the Clinton and Westbrook Ladies Fire Auxillary and the Westbrook Ambulance Association. She is survived by two sons, Steven E. Thomas of Waterbury and Peter S. Thomas of Westbrook, brothers, David Fletcher of West Haven and Michael Fletcher of Springfield, VT, a sister, Polly Wolfe of AZ, one aunt, Harriett Whittaker of Clinton and a uncle, Amos P. Brown of North Branford and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends. Funeral Service and burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Westbrook Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 682, Westbrook, CT 06498. Arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven.

  2. We were deeply sorry to hear of Gail\’s passing she was a wonderful and kind person. I know that my grandmother thought the world of her and Stephen when he was a baby. She will be deeply missed by all but she touched everyone who met her. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Our Sympathy Dave and Joan Feducia
