Gary Edward Crossley

Gary Edward Crossley, 66, of Meriden, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2018 at Coccomo Rehab Center. Born in Meriden on June 2, 1951 to the late Alvin and Marilyn Beierle Crossley. Gary will be remembered as a beloved husband to his wife of 33 years, Carol Sundberg Crossley; dedicated father to his children, Edwin Ireland, Rachel Crossley Tcharkovsky, and Krystal Crossley, all of Meriden; proud grandfather of his grandchildren, Alysandrah Ireland, Crystal-Lynn Tcharkovsky, Gavin & Vic Khongdy, and Damien Rosa; loving brother to his siblings, Diane (Jack) Jerome of Venice, FL and Regina (Ralph) Nocera of Meriden; and a treasured uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson, Ryese Khongdy and his pride and joy, Tootsie. Gary was a lifelong resident of Meriden; having worked at the Record Journal for 25 years, retiring as a Distribution Supervisor. He was an avid 49ers and Red Sox fan. Gary loved all things sports and he was like an encyclopedia of sports information. A passionate man, he had a great love of life, but most of all, he adored his family.
