  1. Anita, My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Gary\’s participation and spirit at camp will be felt for a long time to come. I am sorry we cannot be with you at this time to show our support. We will see you when we are next in Hamden. Please give our love to Cindy and Cathy. Love, Bill, Joann, Allison and Kate Milford

  2. Dear Anita and Family, We just received the news of Gary\’s death. Although it was a shock, upon reflection, the way I heard was comforting, for I first met Gary through music at St. Rita\’s Choir. I now sing in the St. Thomas More Choir. One of the members, Cynthia Russett mentioned Gary and the family, during the petitions. During the remainder of Mass, while singing, I was remembering all the fun musical times Gary and I shared. Larry and I send our deepest sympathy to all of you and the Hamden community, for Gary was so loved by all who knew him. We will miss seeing Gary walking and gardening on Whitney Avenue. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Larry and Jeanne Hartley

  3. I was so sorry to hear about Gary\’s death – I have such fond memories of him and the whole family from my childhood. He was always very involved in our Girl Scout and play activities and he and Anita always made us feel welcome and safe. My thoughts and prayers go to Anita, Cathy, and Cindy now and always.
