In New Haven, Oct. 18, 2006, George Greco of Litchfield Turnpike, Bethany formerly of West Haven, father of Linda Greco (Nate Marinuzzi) of Bethany, Roseann Greco of West Haven, Tina Greco of West Haven, Domenic Greco and his wife, Cheryl of East Haven, Thomas Zickus of Seymour, Jesse Greco of Naugatuck, brother of Ann DeFilippo, Marie Katsemperis, Florence Forte, Frank, Bill and Pat Greco, grandfather of Donald Acker, Jr., Kimberly Acker, Domenic Greco, Jr. and John Greco. Also survived by his best friend, Jim DeMaio and wife, Joan, many nieces and nephews and his pet grand dogs Fernco, Cisco and Mimi. He was predeceased by a son, George Greco, Jr. (The Shark) and brothers, Anthony, Eddie and John Greco. George was born in New Haven, Feb. 23, 1937 a son of the late Frank and Mary Migliacci Greco. He was Owner and President of Greco's Auto Parts of West Haven for 31 years. He was a member of the Seymour Fish & Game Club and a race car driver at the former West Haven Speedway and a top notch race car builder and mechanic. Funeral service Saturday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, West Haven. Friends may call Friday from 4 - 9 p.m.
