DeCrosta, George Michael, 82, died at his home on April 18. This is the note he left behind. 'I have lived a very good life. The love of my life, Susan Rumbin DeCrosta, has been with me for over forty years. When I turned fifty, I was blessed with the birth of our son, Christopher Jude George. My love for my children Michael, David, Cynthia and Edward has been deep and true. I wish only wonderful things for my grandchildren. Be good to each other; even at age 82, I realize that life is too short. George Michael DeCrosta October 14, 1930 - April 18, 2013

  7. I send along my deepest sympathy and prayers for George and his family. George and I grew up together as kids and as good friends in adulthood. George was an exceptional artist and did wonders for my business with letterhead and calling card designs, and there were so many good comments from all my customers. He also designed the Pine Grove Men’s Club logo that is still in existence today. Besides his artistic expertise, he was such a great family man who really cared for his loved ones. I was in close contact with him and his family in the early years and know that his love was very genuine. I am almost the same age (a few months older), but he is so right about life and it is so important to live every moment. My memories of our relationship are still very clear to me and I pray that he will welcome me when it is my turn. Very Sincerely, John .Skip. Morico

  8. Sue and Chris, we are so sad to hear about your loss. Life is too short. You will be in our prayers. Rick and Sue Nagle

  9. Susan and family — Deepest sympathy on your loss of George….Thinking of you at this time. Arthur C Vignola and family

  10. Susan you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Norman will miss his telephone visits with Geo and all the Marine stories they shared. We will keep in contact.

  11. To all the Decrosta Family: We are so sorry to hear about George’s passing because we knew him years ago in the Pine Grove Area when our children all grew up together. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.
